Sydness Architects is not presently interviewing for any open positions. Candidates interested in being considered for a future opening are invited to submit a resume which will be kept on file for six months.

Below is a description of the qualities we typically look for and descriptions of some recent openings: Candidates shall have a desire to assume appropriate levels of responsibility for the creative, technical, and production aspects of our projects. Candidates should be willing to take the initiative to solve problems and to acquire diverse sets of new skills.

Summer Intern

Qualified applicants shall be enrolled in a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture program with the intention of practicing architecture upon graduation. Students who show a diverse academic experience are preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, and/or Quark Xpress is favorable. Additional beneficial skills include Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and HTML.

Permanent Position

Sydness Architects has won multiple international design competitions, an uncommon success for a firm of our size.
