 Bentonville Plaza
· 275,000 Square Foot Office Building
· First Phase of Master Plan

Bentonville Plaza is a mixed-use development located in Bentonville, Arkansas, opposite the world headquarters of Wal-Mart. The project aims to be the first to recognize the potential of the city while respecting its history and heritage. Sydness Architects designed the master plan for the eleven-acre site, which will ultimately include at least three office buildings, a modest amount of service-oriented retail and a 300 room hotel. The initial phase, completed in 2005, consists of a nine-story office building of 275,000 square feet positioned in the center of the site in front of a landscaped plaza and open lawn area. The future office buildings will flank the central plaza area while the hotel will be located on the south end of the site. The red brick façade of the office building is accented with buff-colored precast concrete and double height windows help reduce the scale of the what is now the tallest building in Bentonville. The 30,000 square foot floors will accommodate local office for key vendors doing business with the retail giant, allowing them flexibility to set up merchandising displays as well as general offices.
