Interparfums, Inc.

Interparfums, Inc. has its North American headquarters in the landmark Fred F. French Building at 551 Fifth Avenue in New York. The company develops, manufactures and distributes prestige perfume and cosmetics products as the exclusive worldwide licensee for a host of companies. Sydness Architects was commissioned to design their headquarters office on a full floor of approximately 14,000 square feet.

Seeking to maximize the number of perimeter offices, the architects designed glass office fronts for the entire perimeter of the space optimizing the exposure to natural daylight. The office is composed of several distinct departments that need to relate to each other, therefore adjacent relationships were important in the planning and strategic locations for conference rooms and shared work areas were also key to the overall plan.

The result is an efficient working environment that expresses the nature and character of the business as a forward looking international company.
