Medical Office Building – Danville VA

This six-story office building will be the center of a new development initiative in Danville, Virginia. As the regional hub for health care, the building will be primarily housing health care related offices and out patient facilities.

Entering a double height lobby space off South Main Street, we find a coffee bar/bistro with an open stair to the second floor. The plan is to introduce a pharmacy on the remaining area of the ground floor. The upper floors all step back on the front of the building providing landscaped terraces on each floor with views up Main Street.

The approximately 50,000 square foot building will also enjoy a full landscaped green roof as an amenity for tenants and also as support for LEED certification which the owner is contemplating.

The primary façade of the building is a lightly tinted glass curtainwall, while the remaining exterior will be a terra cotta rain screen system with horizontal ribbon windows.
