This boutique hedge fund in a mid-town office tower already had a design vocabulary that had been established in their west coast office. Seeking to replicate much of the character of their sister office the firm selected a full tower floor that includes an outdoor terrace with expansive views of the skyline.
A primarily office intensive layout leaves the central space of the plan open allowing light from the perimeter offices and conference rooms to spill into the central reception and open office space.
While the finishes in the office are generally of a very high quality the architects decided to leave the ceiling open with a new laminated surface, with exposed ducts and pipes giving the space a sort of dressed up industrial look
