Sustainable design initiative
200 acre campus for 1300 students
Fully intergrated landscape design
Sydness Architects was commissioned to design the masterplan and each of the buildings for a business school in Hyderabad, India. The global software giant SATYAM retained Sydness Architects for the project and they assembled an international team of consultants to design the campus. The plan is organized along a central axis and the buildings step down the gently sloping site to a small lake near the residential precinct. Courtyards that occur at the academic and faculty buildings and also at the student center and library punctuate the spine that terminates at the lake. The campus includes over 1.2 million square feet of academic, residential, athletic, social and support buildings and seeks to establish a world-class learning institution that will draw students from around the world.
